Welcome! I have enjoyed being a part of the Oak Pointe Media Center for over ten years as well as being a National Board Certified Library Media Specialist for 10 years.  I have served as the 2017-18 South Carolina School Librarian of the Year.

My husband, Johnny, and I have two wonderful daughters and a dog named Scout.  We love to spend time together traveling, going to dinner and a movie and hanging out with our friends.  

I have been an avid book reader since I was a little girl who traveled around the world with my military family.  My favorite genres are humor, mystery and fairytales.  After all, who wouldn't want to be a princess?  

Stop by the media center for a wonderful story time and learning experience! We have books that are page turners and everyone will find a book that they will come to love.
