Mr. Christian English, Principal

I am honored to be the Principal of Oak Pointe Elementary School and am excited about what we can accomplish together. I am excited to be a part of such a tight knit and dynamic community. The students, families, faculty and staff truly make Oak Pointe "The Best School Ever"!

Prior to joining the OPES family, I served as Principal of Seven Oaks Elementary Global Magnet for four years, Assistant Principal at Dutch Fork High School for six years. I also taught Spanish at both DFHS and at Myers Park High School for nine years. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Wofford College and a Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on projects around the house, watching basketball and football, and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Cederia Campbell, Assistant Principal

I am honored and excited to serve as the Assistant Principal at Oak Pointe Elementary School. It is a privilege to work alongside our outstanding students, families, teachers, and staff in such a caring and supportive school community.  With more than 24 years of experience in education, I have served as an ESOL teacher, Spanish teacher, special education leader, and administrator. I earned my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and am passionate about instructional leadership, building strong relationships, and supporting both students and teachers. I believe every child can succeed, and I strive to lead with heart while fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous growth.  Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am the proud mother of five boys and cherish every opportunity to make memories with them.  I look forward to partnering with our families and staff as we continue helping every student learn, grow, and thrive.
